Holy Cow

I am so blessed! I have 2 awesome boys that are now running me ragged with Basketball games and practices! I know...I have just gotten started, but I know that for the next 2 months, I will be running all around San Diego getting them to where they need to be. My girls are just tag alongs, because they decided that they didn't want to get hit with a ball. UGH!! Next is soccer...all 4 of them will be playing!!! I love it!

Holidays!

I am so happy that the holidays are finally over! What a crazy couple of weeks! Now that my house is quiet again, I can focus on my walking again! Over the past 2 1/2 weeks, I have been to the dentist on many occasions and I have been to the doctor's office as well! Natalie wouldn't pull out her 2 front teeth, so we had to take her to the dentist and pay $30 to have them pulled out. Why couldn't she save me the money and do it herself!?!?!? I will never know! Madelyn had her front tooth pulled last week. I failed to give her the antibiotics and now we are dealing with the bright red gums! We got it filled and all is well now! Jared was actually at home, trying to enjoy the time off. Now we are getting geared up for a lot of in and out! Gotta love the Navy! I need to up load some pictures, I will do that tomorrow! We are enjoying our last week of Christmas Break and then back to school. Secretly, I'm really excited for it to start again!

Life

Now that my life has finally calmed down a bit...no more sports practices or games. I can take a moment and finally update this blog! I know...I have been a little bit of a slacker! Here's the scoop!
Jared came home early. He wasn't suppose to be back until this week. Well, he came home a week and a half ago. So, my bad habits return. My life revolves around him because he isn't home that often. It was neat that he was able to see the kids play in their various teams! I didn't have to video tape them all the time! He was suppose to miss the entire season! I am grateful that he was able to "participate". It was funny when he would come home from work and ask me what was the agenda for the evening. My list of places to be and times we had to be there was quite long! He is an amazing man to step up and help me out!
I on the other hand...was quite busy myself. I volunteered at MCRD (Marine Corp. Recruit Depot). Our ward is suppose to supply volunteers to feed the recent Marine Corp. graduates. This is something that Salt Lake designates money for. It is a neat experience that I enjoy giving up my time for. We serve the recent graduates of boot camp and their families. It is a free meal! The families that are there to support their Marine are so grateful for the free food. I can't blame them!! I remember when Jared graduated from boot camp...we spent soooo much money that weekend!!
Well, that's enough from me today! I have to clean the house...we have a "special guest" arriving on Friday. To my kids it's a "special guest". To Jared, it's his dad, and me my father in law!
Loads of fun to be had by all!!

Preston

Preston in his uniform!

The Team Banner

Preston in action!

Preston is playing flag football this season. He is the quarterback for his team. He is determined to have an undefeated run! So far, his team is 2-0-1 (2 wins, 0 loses, and 1 tie). He is very proud of this record. He is #9, as he puts it Tony Romo's number. He is a little obsessed with the NFL. His favorite team is the Colts. He is growing so much!

Natalie

Before the game...yes it was raining that day!

Taking a rest before being put back in!

In Action! Watch out for #21!!

Natalie is my soccer player this season! She reminds me of myself when I was that age. It is a blast from the past! She really enjoys the change up from dance. I do hear now a days that she wants to go back to dance class! My pocketbook isn't ready for her to go back yet! :) I am a proud mom though!

Madelyn

Taking a break at half time!

Her squad! The Cowboys!

Madelyn is the cheerleader for Jackson's football team. She seems to like cheering, however I think that she gets a little bored. I'm thinking that she needs to give soccer a try. I am attaching a picture of her squad.
